Seaweed Waste Into Clean Energy

Every day, millions of tonnes of seaweed wash out of the Caribbean sea on the shores of Mexico, Belize, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama and Caribbean islands.

These huge deposits of seaweed serve no particular purpose apart from clogging the beaches, rotting and attracting swarms of insects.

With cooperation between local municipalities, hotels and businesses, the countless tonnes of seaweed can be collected, beaches cleared for tourists and locals to enjoy, and local households can get great supplies of extra clean power by converting seaweed into electricity!

Project plan

We are poised to go worldwide and have interest from a number of municipalities in the Caribbean and Latin America keen to use the conversion technology to solve the problem of polluted beaches whilst producing cheap and clean energy.

We are able to deliver seed funding in the region of $US78,000,000 to the right teams for the development of supply chains and processing plants.

Studies have shown already that it is perfectly possible to produce electricity through seaweed. By rotting, certain microorganisms present in seaweed produce methane gas that is used as fuel for a gas engine that produces electricity.

Seaweed supplies are nearly unlimited and all municipalities need to do is to use their already existing waste disposal systems to deliver seaweed into processing facilities.
